Anybody use a Hawke riflescope?

I have a Hawke on an air rifle. Had it for years and it's been a good scope.

I know of a hawke dealer here in kelowna. My dad has one of their scopes on his 300 weatherby. Don't remember the model. I do know that it has the varmint reticle though. Came with a ballistics program too. I'm not a huge fan of the reticle because there is to much happening in the field of view. Glass is very crisp out to 22x. I'm actually thinking of getting one for my next rifle. I have a pair of their binocs and LOVE them.

It's actually an archery shop. Hardcore archery. In kelowna. Just google them. They have a webpage but it's nothing special. I'm not sure what he will have in stock but he can bring it in whenever.

Well I ended up getting the 4-16x42 Hawke Frontier with MD reticle (Merry Christmas to me), and I went out yesterday to sight it in after mounting the scope. This thing is pretty fantastic. I would rate the optics similar to my Zeiss Conquest, and the adjustments are pretty comparable as well (VERY positive and quite firm. Very repeatable and precise). Thanks for the replies.

They must be pretty tough scopes, I have heard of people using them on pellet rifles as well as crossbows, both are notorious for destroying lesser optics.

Hawke Optics have been sold across the pond for many years.. They have a great reputation. Not well known overhere. The warranty is better in NA than Europe. I believe here warranted for life, over there, 10 years.
Their binoculars have been compared to the big three (Zeiss, Leica, Swarovski) and they are being touted as 'roughly similar glass, 1/3 the cost.
Just picked up a pair of Hawke Frontier ED binoculars and they are fantastic. I would consider a scope anytime, if I wasn't 'scoped out', as it were.

Yessir. I just took it out this afternoon coyote calling, and my friend had his Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40 along as well. We only got settled in about 30 minutes before dark, so we didn't have much time for calling, but we did do some scope comparisons. The Frontier stacks up favorably to the Zeiss, especially as twilight was approaching and it was getting dark. Clarity and brightness were very similar between the two.
