March Larue Tactical Desktop Calender Available

What's with the picatinny rail attached to the bottom of the CTR stock? Saw the thing attached to many stocks in Shot Show vids.

PS Found it: LaRue POD (Prone Optimization Device)

Yup, there are enough good products made by companies that treat Canadians like customers rather than inconveniences that I don't need to concern myself with Larue.

LaRue Tactical POD (Prone Optimization Device) LT733

Converts your Magpul CTR into a precision-rifle stock
Originally designed for the OBR, the LaRue POD (Prone Optimization Device) places a 1.75" section of MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail on the bottom of a Magpul CTR buttstock. This section of rail is the perfect platform for a FUG, raising the stock up to level the rifle when shooting in the prone. The user can pull the FUG into the shoulder for optimum control in stock-seating and can even fine-tune sight picture, by squeezing the grip with the heel of the hand resting on the ground's surface. The section of rail to the bottom also gives additional traction into bench rest bags, when not using an extension.

Includes:
4-piece LaRue IndexClips, mounting hardware, LockTite and hex wrench

Umm, thanks for letting us know......Now I can ignore their wallpaper too

Facts that you don't like LaRue Tactical, that Mark LaRue has attitude, or that LaRue Tactical has no interest in selling anything to Canadians do not diminish the facts that LaRue Tactical makes very high quality hardware, and that alot of their products are both innovative, high quality and well thought out.

The situation is comparable with HK military products - HK won't sell you a G36K, but there are people who still badly want one.

In fact, I suspect that if someone were to bring in a bunch of LaRue uppers or completed AR-15s and OBRs to Canada, they would be bought up pretty damn fast.

I dont like the fact that Larue doesnt sell to Canadians but i will buy the product when it is availble.I ended up getting a 10 inch handguard brought in by Fabsports 2 weeks ago.Man its one sweet handguard.:)The fit and finish is better than most similar products.

Not saying they don't make excellent kit,I use it myself, but their attitude towards selling to us up north leaves a bad taste in the kool aide.

Well said PC9.

I just thought of letting everyone know of the AR picture calendars. I don't own a Larue myself, it's just some eye candy when you open up the laptop. Plain and simple.

I think that we have a lot of American members with some status that are seeing the market for AR's up here, ie: KAC, Bushmaster, Armalite, Colt etc.....

In a lot of states, you can only buy 16" AR's unless you pay an ATF fee for licencing a SBR. Up here, restricted is restricted. Not that it's right, but, American companies are starting to see the "Unrestricted" market in their eyes for selling this type SBR AR.

They will probably sell more SBR's in Canada than in the U.S.

would you rather buy from #### Swan..... there is a guy with a GREAT ATTITUDE (a.r.m.s)

I didn't say I wouldn't purchase LaRue products,I'm saying they do not sell to Canada,or anywhere outside of the US for that matter.
Swan has made his own bed,and is reaping the "benefits of that". Save your sarcasm for someone who cares about your opinion.

So they won't talk to green tips but they'll talk to nutnfancy?

IIRC in the Larue topic about shot the product rep's name was Mark.

"Screw Larue." There are a lot of fish in the AR accessory market. I'll deal with ADM who actually bother to do business with Canadians.

The problem with HK is that the german government has to approve ALL guns for export as being "sporting purpose". I am sure they would sell as many semi-auto G36's and UMP's as they could if it were legal for them to do so. They just cant. EVERY gun like that needs an end-user agreement.

LaRue IS registered with the state department, thats why we CAN get stuff into Canada once in a while. But LaRue themselves and ALL their registered retailers refuse to go through the export process to sell stuff up here.

Companies like GG&G, American Defense, Troy Industries, Midwest Industries and even ARMS are willing to do this.

Perhaps for a cheese grater. You should never go into a tactical situation without your cheese grater.

Sabre Defence Industries would be in the same boat as H&K and LaRue, if it wasn't for their UK branch. SDI won't sell to us up here, but their British counterpart can. Pretty damn sweet, I shall reckon!
