So, I am a bit out of the loop when it comes to rimfires. I have a Voere M 2117 that was given to me in pieces and I got it all cleaned up, put together and functioning. I would like to mount a scope on it but there are no holoes for a base but the receiver is grooved. The groove measures roughly 11mm across.

I have seen guys with standard weaver rings clamped onto grooved receivers such as this but they didn't seem to be that nice of a fit.

I am wondering if any rimfire gurus can help me out and suggest some type of rings that are designed for this type of mounting.

Thanks

thanks Wendell, I have another question now. When measuring a dovetail to determine which mounts I need, is the measurement taken at the top of a dovetail? The widest part? or is the measurement taken from the inside of the groove? I am asking b/c the top of this dovetail is about 11.5 mm wide but the inside groove would be about 9.5 mm which is roughly 3/8"...both these measurements seem to be what's available in mounts and I don't want to get the wrong ones. I am thinking I need the 11 mm rings, but want to be sure.
