Taco Varmit on No4

I have a Tasco Varmint lying around from another rifle, and I also have an S&K mount for a No4, so I thought I would put the two together. Is the .303 to much for this scope, or will I rattle it to bits?

I saw Taco Varmit wrestle once. The man was a lucha libre legend.

On a more serious note, Tasco used to be a bit of a crapshoot. Their stuff of late has been better quality. I imagine you'll be fine. Not like the .303 is a real recoil monster.

I tried one on a #4 once... the elevation drum would move one click each time the rifle fired.

What mount were you using?

S&K instamount with weaver rings. I also tried the same scope on a 308 rem700 with the same result.

I got one of these as part of a Savage .17HMR deal a couple years ago. Sold the rifle, used the scope for a few other things. It survived maybe 20 shots on an SVT-40. Same issue as HeadDamage. Used the P&S mount and Harris rings.

i use one on a #4 thats been re- bbled to 220 swift
