Got it today. Awesome-looking gun, but the action seems awfully stiff compared to my other Grizzly, and the mag has a fair bit of play in the magwell - anyone had feeding problems with these shotguns? I'm going to take it out this weekend and try it out... :)

Anyone know whether I need to re-register these two guns, as I swapped the barrels on them? They're still both over 26" OAL.

Nice shotguns. Try cycling some shells just to make sure that they feed properly. When I got mine, the shells wouldn't chamber properly and I had to smooth out the mag lips with some sand paper. I have the 15" Grizzly. Also Canam is getting more mags soon. :)

Id never cycle live shells in a new gun withought being ready to fire. I hope your not suggesting doing that inside. ;)

If you actually read that nice piece of paper that your registration Certificate comes with, you only need to inform the CFC of changes of:

Any mod that affects its classification: non-rest, rest, prohib (your shotguns still fall under the criteria of non restricted. Therefore no need to notify the CFC)
Any mod that results in the firearm ceasing to be a firearm.
Any mod to a firearm or receiver that allows it to discharge ammo.
Any mod to the type, action, calibre or guage of the firearm,
Any modification to an altered automatic firearm

Hm. Tried that earlier with some practice rounds, and with the play in the mag, feeding was iffy... it didn't want to feed unless I was pulling back a bit on the mag. I'll have to see how it performs at the range with real ammo.

Thought I might need to, as one is registered with a barrel under 18.5 (or whatever the limit is), the other with a barrel over, and I'm swapping the barrels between the two. If I'm not legally required to notify them, all the better!
 
Mine has some play of the mag too. On Sunday shot 20 slugs through it. No problem with feeding, but kicks like a mule. It was my first time ever shooting a shotgun, so maybe it's normal, but I was a little surprised after shooting .22 all day.
