SKS duckbill mags

Am wondering same thing. I mounted a foregrip on my SKS, but don't like the look. A 20 rounder would balance it out, aesthetically.

Thought about trying to get an SKS-D, but then figured may as well just get a VZ-58/CZ-858 in that case.

These are the ones that work with the normal SKS's right? don't you just unscrew the normal top-loading mag and rig the thing to take these weird looking mags? Does anyone have a link to what it looks like or where I can check out the price?

Work with a tapco T6?

Thanks for noticing my amount of threads on this, I love knowing I have fans. The uselessness of your comment is absolutely mind boggling though...

Thank you. Colt

Hey could someone chime in here with their experience using duckbill mags on their SKS? I have a Norinco spike bayo and I'd like to get one of those tapco T6 black stocks with the rails and AR stock. Will I just be able to take out my internal magazine and replace it with a pinned 20 round duckbill? Are there any modifications needed? Does anyone have any pictures of this?

Okay here it goes again...lol

The duckbills work fine on after market stock but require some wood trimming out for the wood factory stock. I have never had any issue with teh function of my mags ever and I like the look as well. They are very hard to find now and have been for over a year now. The sks tapco stocks sometimes are in short supply so please check the sponsers above for stocks but none of them have had mags for some time now.

You got it Pontiac!!!!!!!! ;)
I am far from an SKS know it all but i have had a few now and believe in being able to field strip and reassemble almost blind folded before shooting any gun. Get to know your gun really well and clean her really well and then you are set for a long time. They are a great gun and are cheap and easy to tinker with.
