Does anyone sell stock replacement parts for the Norinco M14? I am not talking about improvement parts but rather the factory parts that the rifle comes with.

I needed a gas tube plug for example. M14 Doctor hooked me up but if he hadn't been able to, where would I have gotten such an item? Or any item that comes stock on these rifles?

Thanks !

Not all bits and pieces have metric threads on them, restricting them from being used on both rifles. Stocks, handguards and associated hardware, flash suppressors, sights, bolt, extractors, ejectors, firing pin, springs and guide and other parts all interchange.

check my add in the EE ...
I've got most a Chinese M14 left [ except barrel and receiver ],
PLUS
a GI fiberglass stock.

Buy 2 !

Buy a second gun for parts...may be cheaper than trying to coble a bunch of parts.

Or yer dicks will fall off -

Spares ? - You will need bolts cause the roller bearings sometimes crap out, and gas cylinders cause the hole wears out before the piston does.
Other than that - I have an original 20 year old polytech that is still going strong and accurate after at least 10,000 rounds -

Holee sheet !

Are barrel threads metric? I have chance at an original H&R barrel and was wondering if it was interchangeable?

Yes, and your chinese parts will fit, BUT you will need a usgi or m1a flash hider castlenut and gas lock as the usgi barrel has standard theads and chinese = metric. Barrel/receiver threads are standard thread on all m14 type rifles.

There are spare parts for Chinese rifles with metric threads from those, that Have converted Poly or Norinco rifles and or done some upgrades.
I have a few left over parts from a recent build in the parts box right now.
