Problem with Blueline's AR-15 Lowers?

Lazerus2000
I just happen to have one of these in order. This will be my first AR ever.
Thanks alot for your comments I will look toward Dlask LPK and A2 stock.

for a moment I tought I made a wrong move but you cleared everything up :stirthepot2:

Thanks LaZ

Well, the reason i don't want to talk to them again is because it took me 2 months to get it, and 1 hour of wait at the store to pick it up. I am totally fed up.

Just imagine ordering something, paid for it. and your info is lost 8 times in 2 months.
Calling them, was told will call back and never had a call back. You see what I mean?

I don't even bother wasting any more of my time into it.

I don't know what to say. My dealings with Blue Line were very pleasant - placed an order, they called back, took down my info, and initiated a transfer. About a week and a half later i got the lower in the mail.

Not sure what store you're talking about, since I've ordered online.

I don't dispute what you're saying, all I'm saying is that my experience in dealing with Blue Line was very different from yours.

On the other hand, if you're unhappy with your Blue Line lower, you can place it for sale on EE (especially now that it has an LPK and stock), and, I suspect, it will sell in a short time.

He's got a bidding war going on in the thread, it'd most likely be bought up within the first five minutes @.@

I have three Dlask lowers. I have had fairly fast, responsive and good service each time.

If anything, I suspect Joe does his work right to the tolerance of the specs. If I had to criticize for something it would be only that. What does that mean. He machines to specs and then anodizes. that results in the odd case where the anodizing may have snugged up the fit of a hole here and there. Worse things that it caused so far were:
1. I hand-turned a reamer through the front take-down hole to give another half a thousands room;
2. The buffer retaining pin hole had to be hand turned with a 1/4 drill to remove some residue for a smoother fit; and
3. I once had to hand turn a tiny drill in the hole for the front take-down pin retaining spring.

If you have enough knowledge to assemble a lower, these would all been easy enough to figure out. If you bought a complete lower or rifle from him, he would have sorted it out in the build for you anyway.

Either way, a good product and a good service.

Ok, sent off an email to blue line, and I'm kind of impatient at times @.@ so, asking here as well. Would the BL-15 LE1 lower be strong enough to use with .223remington/5.56NATO uppers? Or would it be .22LR only? Cuz the price of those lowers are tempting to start a first build :D very low on funds, baby #2 is on the way and daddy wants a new toy that he can purchase in parts to appease the pocketbook and the wife ;)

I mentioned earlier in this thread that BOTH my Blue Line Lowers are marked .22 LR.
AND,
except for those specific markings,
BOTH lowers are EXACTLY the same as any other Dlask lower I've worked with.

I have tested my Blue Line lowers with a 10.5" LMT upper chambered in 5.56, using actual real 5.56 green tip ammo,
and with a RRA 6.8 SPC upper,
using Rem factory 115 Gr 6.8 ammo.

So far my #### has NOT fallen off!!!

It is the DEDICATED .22 LR UPPERS that can be built with a special .22 LR only barrel, and special .22 LR bolt .

The AR lowers are not usually caliber specific. [ up to a point ]

Thanks laz, I must have missed that info (or miss read either or) and that puts me mind at ease and solidifies my decision of the purchase of one of these lowers... Now to wait for the funds :D

In your group purchase we had three wrong names (English nicknames instead of actual names). Two phone numbers were not provided, one address was missing (turn out to be one fellows spouse but we could not know that), one wrong address (yours) and two wrong PAL numbers.
We never lost your paperwork. We could not complete your transfer because your friend gave us your home address instead of your p.o. box address which is registered with CFC. We could not even contact you because we did not have your phone number. We have started your transfer as soon as we got correct information. It is really not up to us when it is going to be completed.
We are sorry if you are not satisfied with this transaction, but you need to understand that we did everything we could to complete it as soon as possible.
If you are not pleased with your lower receiver, you can return it at any time!
