NEA Hand Guard Availability

To give you an idea on pricing, the complete hand guard set will now retail for under $180, when they are available again in March.

Good news for those sitting on the fence. :D

Disappointing news for those of us, who were first out of the gate. :(

Even though I understand it's the nature of business.
 
As someone who will benefit from the cheaper price, I just want to thank everyone who supported NEA right off the bat...if I hadn't had a tough year fiscally I would have been buying the early versions myself.

But funds were tight and I couldn't afford it. Still, those of you who bought in early helped get NEA off the ground, and now look what they're doing for the Canadian shooting scene...

You guys might have blown a couple of extra twenties, but you also have the satisfaction of knowing you were involved in the ground floor of NEA. That's pretty cool and worth the money IMO.

Think of the guys on the big US boards who own a rare Generation 1 Troy rail or whatever...even though it's been superseded, people are always jealous of that gear just because it usually means those guys were there from day 1.

So congrats to the guys who bought in early. I don't think you'll regret it at all.

It always sucks when you pay for something and the price drops or it goes on sale soon after, but that's life. Sometimes it goes the other way too. I'm more than happy with the quality of my handguard set. I lost the non-captive ball/spring on mine but since I need a mallet to get it on/off my 858 it's not an issue! :D

i still need a lower damit, hopefully i can get a deal on one i plunked the full change down on the upper, I cant swing it at the price its at if'n i get the other things i want(mag release/ tac bolt release/ ambi safety.:) and now that its dropping it be a poor decision to, im getting poorer.
 
i bought a generation 1 and i still thought the cartoon was funny bcos i didnt feel the same way , i felt good that i contributed to canadian dealers.
