Remington 870 bolt in Grizzly receiver?

Tried a quick search...didn't get any matches.

Will a factory Remington 870 bolt fit in a Dominion Arms Grizzly mag fed receiver? I'm thinking it does...but not sure. I'm looking for something with a better finish than the DA bolt that I have now.

Yes, but you'll have to use the grizzle bolt carrier. I have a wingmaster bolt on mine.

on mine it was not compatible. tried everything - even replacing the entire forend. there was some serious binding and i did not want to force it.
there are minor dimensional differences between the Grizzly and Wingmaster -- even if you do manage to make it fit, there is no guarantee that the gun will be as safe to fire as with the original bolt/bolt carrier.
IMO there is nothing wrong with the Grizzly bolt, bolt carrier, or forearm so leave well enough alone.

I had to change it because mine was fubar'd due to lending it to someone who held down trigger while working the slide.

The part I don't understand is that if everyone is putting real 870 parts on their grizzlies, then why not just buy real 870 and get it over with?

some grizzlies are mag fed..and none of the 870s are

will it be easier to fit the mag system on a 870 that fittin 870 internals into a grizzly?
