I just ordered a Medalist stock today and was wondering if anyone just got one from them and how long it took to get it, It would be nice to get a ballpark idea of how long a wait I'm in for.BTW I got it from rifle accuracy...

I'd like to know as well. I put my order in on Jan 4th for 2 medalists.
I'm expecting to see them in the next couple of weeks.

I think I paid about $550 CAN for 2 B&C medalists to fit Rem 700 LA.

One gray with black web and one tan with black web.

Gray with black web is going on my stainless Rem 700 XCR 338wm and the tan with black web is going on my stainless Rem 700 BDL 7mm RUM.

Both will be upgrades from the factory tupperware stocks.

B&C Carbelite TOO BULKY IMO!

Can't speak for a medalist, but a carbelite is too bulky IMO. Brown & High Tech stocks much sleeker & fit nicer IMO.

Here is the one B&C carbelite I have, Ignore the 12 1/2" LOP, that is why the slip on is on the back of the stock.

Had to open it up for a long tang action. Planned to fill the big gaps I made when I bedded it. The inlet on the floor plate on this stock is super crooked, lots of bedding compound will be needed to fix it ;) Plus I need at least a 1 1/2" spacer to get the LOP to fit me :)

Then I scored a nice factory Fiberclass & my B&C project got put back in the closet :D

My Brown is very close to the factory Fiberclass in design. My Brown fits me awesome :D

B&C don't make a medalist for a Sako, so I have no idea what they are like? Much better with a bedding block I am guessing?

I had a B&C carbelite for a Rem 700 DM that I had planned to use for a project. The inletting was okay for the action and the bottom metal. No issues. I'm sure like everything else, there are a few bad apples in the bag.

Both of my guns have Remington magnum barrel contours so I know I'll have to open up the barrel channel a bit when I get them. Shouldnt be a big deal.

Still trying to decide if I should do a bedding skim coat or if the full length bedding block is enough.
