Roger that, and thanks...

The question to the Thread was not can I shoot 5.56 nato out of my 223 match chamber. FYI a match chamber can shoot 5.56 without any signs of pressure depending on ammo type - however that’s an entirely different thread. We are dealing with SAMMI spec 223 rem chambers here at this time.
Did you read the post linked above, did you note that the Wylde is by and large based on the NATO chamber and NOT the SAAMI .223...!?
I'm on the side of dimensional tolerance and pressures... you're the one who seems to think that there's a Davinci Code'esque plot afoot to scare us into compliance with some "imagined" risk...

This.
And note that the Oracle reinforces my earlier point with regard to Armalite... they changed their chambering in 2001 from .223 to 5.56... why do you suppose they did that...!? Interesting how they change their tech on the back end and cover their asses out the front with WWII's famous bulletin... they have money (liability) at stake on the inside, and money (reputation) at stake on the outside... two problems each requiring a different and contradictory solution... a two headed dilemma.
Imagine... a large corporation making a public claim to save face while all the while crossing their fingers in the boardroom that no one has an issue... hmmm... I wonder what Toyota would say about how that sometimes works out...

here's saami's info on said cartridges, scroll down to 223 remington and over to 5.56 military. I dunno, what your intent is with this post, i'm just providing unbiased info to the originator of this post and he can make his own decision.
have a great day.
p.s. read the whole article next time, not just the first paragraph.
Can I shoot 7.62 NATO ammo in my Chinese M-14?
It is clearly marked on the receiver as .308 Win,
but I heard from some of the older guys at the gun shop that chamber dimensions are purposely made way off because the Chinese are involved in a vast conspiracy to sell us North American round eyes guns that blow up in our faces.
That way they can get more money to buy up our Oil Sands.
OOPS ...
sorry ...
wrong forum ....
this belongs over in the MBR section!!!

I just bought a SS barreled AR 15 upper off the CGN EE.
The barrel has absolutely no/none/zero markings as to twist, calibre, or manufacturer. According to the seller it is a Wilson manufactured barrel.
Does any one know if Wilson is Chinese?
Is he in on this conspiracy too?
Am I taking my life in my hands today when I take my new unfired AR 15 upper to the range to sight it in with a mix of Green Tip 5.56, Win white box 5.56, Win White box .223, several different .223 62/64 gr police issue Zombi loads that I got from my SWAT buddy?
I am taking my Remington R25 out too. It is marked as .308. I read somewhere on the internet that, in the interrests of safety, Remington purposely lightened the hammer spring to prevent the R25 from accidentally firing the harder primers on the 7.62 NATO ammo . I put in a full powered AR 15 hammer spring. If I shoot some Hirtenberger ball 7.62 NATO ammo in my R25, will this cause the R25 to explode just like all those Chinese M14s??
Enquiring minds need to know the answers????
I'll be sure to wear TWO pairs of shooting glasses today just in case.
That will play hell with my plans to see clearly through the scope for the sighting in sessions ....
but better safe than sorry.
as with any other opinions you get for free off the internet,
this opinion may be worth less than you paid for it,

Maybe you can enlighten us on exactly why ArmaLite changed to 5.56 since you seem to have these super human oracles.![]()
