Impressive idea; agreed that I'm surprised it took them this long to play with it... maybe it's been tested for some time and is just now being released to the public?

hahahaha sorry guys for being a party pooper. Mind you grooves cut into the projectile by the barrel grooves may already achieve somewhat that effect. Early golf balls(featheries) were smooth, and golfers noticed after they were used for awhile, and got nicked up and the like, they flew more stable, and farther.

The golf-ball-bullet story had some clues that should have tipped off smart readers to the fact that it was an April 1st spoof. First, the last name of the development team leader was “Eldrick”. Hmm… sound familiar? Google “Eldrick”. That’s right, “Eldrick” is Tiger Woods’ actual first name.

Funny how they go on and on about increased velocity, range, etc, but no mention of accuracy.

Imagine what happens to that nice perfectly round bullet when you smack it between as set of "binary" dies and completely distort and mangle that previously perfectly formed jacket.
