.243 Win. 1-9.25" 107gn

Can a 1 in 9.25" twist push those 107 gn Sierra bad boys out there? I noticed a freakishly high BC for such a small caliber and am interested in starting a build at some point. (2nd/ 3rd build)

For the record, I have no answer for this question since I have no prior experience. F-class/prec. guys will chime in soon enough I gather.

in noneck's defence, I kind of was jumping around and shouldnt have posted this without checking out posts on other threads and forums, and am not on my 3rd build, but thinking for the future
 
The short answer to the OP's question is: Not dependably. You need a minimum of 8.5" twist to reliably stabilize that bullet. I would opt for an 8" simply because it allows me more barrel choices. Regards, Eagleye.
 
I had good hopes on Trying the Hornady 105 a-Max today out of my 1 in 9.25 VLS but by the time I finished working on a number of loads using IMR 4895 and Varget to push my 75 gr V-max to 3500 + fps I ran out of time due to the weather. From what I hear on a number of forums the best thing is to try them and see for yourself, I would expect them to be OK but I know in my Custom 6 Br with a 1 in 8 twist they will do single holes. If the weather gets better tomorrow I will try the 105's with some Varget and see what happens.

I had great success with the 105's and 41.0 grains of H414 powder. I worked so good I never tried to improve the load. But I thought .83" at 200 M. was good enough.
