can you use a .223 or .224 bullet when reloading .222 ammunition?

Like bassman said, the .222 actually uses .224 caliber bullets.

.222rem uses a .224 inch bullet, as does .223 rem, 22-250 and virtually all center-fire .22's

Old .22 Hornet rifles sometimes have .223" bores, but .224" is now the standard, like most other centrefire .22s.

Hey Darren pick up a manual and do lots of reading Yes .224 Diameter bullets are correct for your .222.
