Nutnfancy's Review on SIG 522

I'll be getting one when they come in. :D

It's reliability from all accounts has sold me. Plus I like the Sig 5xx look.

One thing though. The Black dog mags. I'm not a huge fan. They're ok but not fantastic. I find the 27 round mags hard to load. I've also had 2 of them self destruct on me due to a round going off in the breach (Tactical Solutions AR upper). The front plastic lip snapped off in one case.

With this rifle, it doesn't look like you'll have a problem with the mags since the reliability of the rifle seems to be excellent. However with uppers etc that have too frequent stove pipes, misfeeds etc you can expect to lose some of the mags due to damage.

Yea this gun looks bad ass! I'm impressed with its supposed reliability to cycle any brand .22LR. I know there has been lots of threads on tactical .22's anyone hear when this is coming to Canada, and its classification?

Anyone else here think the Nutnfancy guy is the "tactical" equivalent to the comic book guy on the Simpson's?

I appreciate the reviews but sometimes it's hard to watch through. At times I feel like I'm watching Bill and Ted's excellent adventure. Dude, no duuuude...... It was dumb with teenagers, it's downright stupid with 40 year olds.

As for the guy shooting... WTF is with that cigarette?

Agreed. All that aside, there is some great information in those videos.

:owned:

I've watched a lot of his (shorter) videos, but his new videos seem completely unconcerned with the clock.

Lately I have found his videos to be longer than my attention span.

Yeah, a cross between the comic book guy and TDC. :ban:

Definitely interested in this rifle, though.

This is the reason I stopped watching his videos, long ago. He likes the sound of his own voice, more so now, then before.
