Enfield "treasures"

A friend who is getting out of firearms sent me a box of bits and bobs. I'm working through the box and have uncovered a couple of interesting things - some of which I know are milsurp, but for which rifle?

First, the known:

A Mk. II Enfield oiler, same length as the later oilers.

WD - marked

Next some known/unknown:

The sling swivel in the middle looks like a standard SMLE swivel, but the other swivel is unfamiliar, as is the ring on the right, which looks like it could be part of a nosecap or barrel band. All three parts are stamped with an "E", if that helps.

The ring on the right in the bottom picture is part of a No.4. it holds the rear end of the upper hand guard on the rifle. If you look at a pic you will see it, its located right at the chamber area.

The sling holder in the middle goes on a Lee Enfield buttstock. No idea about the one in the left.

one on left maybe a martini enfield?

Looks like an oiler for a long lee.

The swivel is for either a 1853 enfield or a snider enfield or martini henry.

The sling swivel and base is for the mo1MkIII and variants...

The ring is for a No4 or No 5 Lee enfield top rear hand guard.

accepted by the War Department, the manufacturer you'll have to figure that out from the inspectors mark, I don't have my books handy but the inspector mark looks like the crown and number 16 and the letter H

Yes, aren't they in the butt stock for the ME.

Although... and this might be an added part because the swivel is in the butt stock..

Having narrowed the wide swivel down to being a Martini-Henry I did a little more digging into these rifles and had a look at some information about them. It would appear there are other M-H bits in the tin. I'll create a new thread with some pictures and perhaps impose upon the experts to confirm if they are indeed M-H parts.
