Just ordered my Tavor today the waiting game begins

Btw, you might want to compare your friend's serial number to yours when you talk to him. Be interesting to see if a rifle from a brand new run has numbers in the same range as a three year old unit.

Not that it's any of my business of course. Just curious is all.

It makes me sad.

As has been stated people don't understand what all it takes to get things like the Tavor to happen.

Most people have no idea what all CANAM does for the community. Give these guys a break, they are working extremely hard and despite taking some serious blows keep on working hard.

I doubt the serial numbers would be anywhere close, but worth a check. Any reason as to why they'd be in the same range?

That's exactly the problem. CanAm may be a bunch of super people with no intention to screw anyone over. But keep buyers informed. Tell 'em when yet another bump in the road is going to delay shipment.

Otherwise you get threads like this one which, I might add, I'm shocked hasn't been locked yet.

I just called & yes, they picked up the phone. I told the employee that Chris had promised me a tracking # or rifle in hand by today, Feb.19th... I was told by the employee "I can't speak to what Chris has told you, call back on Monday..."

Not sure what benefit there is to calling for an update in this situation. It just ends up ticking me off!

There was a used one for sale in the EE yestersay going for $3400. It was a 1st Gen. It was 4:00am and I knew I had a shot at her. If it had been the latest generation, I woulda been on her like a fly on cow-poop.

She sold within a coupla hours, btw.

damn. I woulda jumped on it if all my fun money wasn't tied up in these tavors I'm waiting for.
