Okay, here's a photo of the second batch of things culled from the tin of mystery bits - some straight, some curved and one squiggly.

I realize I may have a couple of commercial items mixed in here, and a couple may not even be gun parts but all are new to me. Some online searching tells me that at least some of this is Martini-Henry stuff...a rear sight spring (broad-arrow marked), butt plate screws, breech block hinge, a Baddeley band screw, maybe a striker spring and, not pictured, what may be a sight ladder retaining pin, and some small screws including one which may work for the sight spring.

Okay, have at...what's here? Is my initial research on some of these items correct? (Canadian Olympic Hockey quarter provided for scale...and inspiration)

bottom flat spring is a Lee-Enfield butt-trap spring, front sight band looks modded, LE

likely i'm wrong, anyway

there are a couple of screws there that go 'WAY back; i have similar on a doglock

Looks like the rear sight spring from a MH to me.
Also some of the screws are for MH's, the barrel bands and sling rings.
Three near identical wood screws at the bottom are for a MH butt plate (maybe other earlier British models also).
I posted some photos of MH parts in the antique forum I'll dig up the link for comparison.

In the top left the large and medium screw look like the action screws from a mosin nagant. The wide thread ones at the bottom look like butt plate screws from the same rifle.

Thanks for all the help with this. The consensus, based on some PMs as well, is that several items are Martini-Henry.

Others remain unidentified, so my search for knowledge continues.
