Glad you got that pile of junk working like a charm, Rob. I didn't have the set up or the funds to work on it, and that 1/16" headspace issue was the nail in the coffin. I hope it lasts a crate or two of ammo for ya, and I hope the missus is happy with it too.
The bayos will be on the way in a couple of days, as soon as I find a box that they'll fit in.

Grizz said I was next in line for that POS. Too bad for me, as I had my welder all warmed up to do the same thing. I can't X-ray the weld from here, but it looks like it should hold at least as much as the repair pins. Keep your eyes peeled for cracks.
I picked up another one to do some experiments with. If time permits I will post my results.
