Nightforce

I don't know about u fellas

but, on my $2000 plus scope, the $100 or whatever charge to get my defective high $$ optic fixed (which i haver not had to do....) is not really a bother. And we all know that $hit happens, and that sometimes items fail.

Obviously I would not be happy that the item failed, but on a 10K rig, or whatever, what is $100 in the grand scheme of things.

Look at what it costs to shoot, say .338LAI.... So the $100 is a minor cost... The old saying "you pay to play"

So true, on the high power rifle firing line, very few rifle match shooters, complain about cost of equipment.

I am naive? A few hundred dollars! Enough said.

So we know ATR will not support costs for returning the scope to USA. Good or Bad it is a fact. That is a business decision.

Perhaps P&D and Hirsch will comment.

P&D is a great place to deal with, also Hirsh precision: Currently looking at getting an F1 from them, very good price $2800, also shooting edge, there are number of other dealer on Gunnutz that carry NightForce, do some research on model and price wise, Take the time to find the right one...

I just ordered my second Nightforce scope. This time through a dealer on this site. While I have never had an issue with my current NF it would not bother me to cover the handling and shipping costs that a dealer would incur helping me get my scope fixed.

I am well north of 5K on the rifle that the NF scope sits on, one or two hundred dollars expended to keep making clover leafs is no big deal.

Even the Leupold fixer south of Calgary charges shipping - which I have no issue with.

...just bought my first Nightforce, from Alberta Tactical Rifle this week,.....I CANNOT say enough about the service extended to me to get it mounted on my new hunting rig,.....we had a few hiccups, and he went WAY out of his way to make it all good......

customer service sells stuff like this,....i'll pay the extra I would have saved by getting it in the south, for that reason alone. I will be going back, and they are 2.5 hrs away one direction..... killer group of guy's.
