The elusive 1949 Russian SKS

Can not change a law over there yet. Believe me I am trying. It is the 5 bullets rule here that caused it. There you go not me who made the rules. If people want those I will bring it. If not then I will bring the usual 1950 and up. So far I have 7 people on the list, most of which said that they will take in any condition. I have to go through mounts of crates to find it. Who else would do it for you? Sorry if I come out rough, I guess I have to go to sleep now.
If you franken pin them, you destroy the allure of an all matching example.

put me down for one but i want mine in very good to unissued condition and it has to be non-refurb , meaning it comes with spike bayo, skinny fore stock , square gas block and ringed top cover latch.

Sure Curtton. You are on my list.

Thank you for all of you guys who send me an email and PM. Now I know how many to look for. I will bring as many as possible to find.

Oups i forgot to tell, today, i buy a sks 1949 from P.S Militaria. The rifle have the hardwood stock and the blade bayonet. Jean send me somes pics, carbine is in very good-excellent cond. I'm sure i will be happy, a refurb 49 is better than no 49 at all. I,m also on the list of sergey96 for another 1949 in original cond if possible.:D

I geuss I lucked out because when I bought it, I did'nt know a damn thing about them. The guy were I bought it from just let me pick through them until I found one I liked.

I picked up a decent 1950 Tula from Lever with the spring loaded firing pin, slightly angled gas block, 'perforated" reciever cover release latch and the unchromed bore, which is not "corrosive ammo proof" , but it is original. (and in mint condition too!) It has been refurbished, but at only $199 plus tax, I'm pretty happy with it!:D
