I am have trouble locating lead I have been getting Hornady 350 and 500gr but they are saying 2-4 months from factory, Anyone have some alternatives?

The price on these bullets is pretty good even with shipping from the USA and Mike is a great guy to deal with. His Import/Export paperwork system is painless and an excellent feature on his site.

I e-mailed Berry's directly about maximum velocity and loads and they got back to me right away with this e-mail:

We do not have our own tested load data, but let me try to help you.

Our copper plated 350 Gr. RS bullet for the 500 S & W has been tested & works well in the range from 1200 FPS (nice) to 1800 FPS (ouch).

Good data is on the Hodgdon web-site using the Hornady 350 Gr. XTP & will work with our bullet.

Also Speer # 14 has good data with their 350 Gr. bullet that will work with our bullet.

Our Boss has had good results with 35.0 Gr. Hodgdon Lil'Gun.
