recoil reducing CZ 858 stock buffer--no instructions, little help?

I must have blinked at 2:34, suddenly the stock adapter was installed, and the handguards changed :eek:

My thoughts exactly. To clarify, I need to know how to install the stock adapter. The hardware it came with doesn't give me any clues. Thanks for the attempt though Satain. Anyone else?

Mine screwed right into the nut, just needed the allan key to tighten it. I have the same one and it did not need anything additional albiet the allan key. You already have the old stock off? I watched that video as well, magically all the hard to intall parts are dont all of a sudden. Now you know why, the guy who made it had trouble with it as well!

Mine came with a threaded bolt, and a cap screw that's threaded internally for the bolt and externally for the reciever, but it just has a flat flange on end. Nothing to grip it with. Weird.

Yes that should just screw into the existing threads that the old stock was threaded onto, then the long screw threads into the cap screw. I found mine went on a little tight which I did not like, but it sits flush.

Then how do I tighten the long screw? The other end is inside the buffer. Is there a panel that comes off? I already have an aftermarket stock on it, but that one tightened with a hex bolt. I feel like a newb. Lol.

There should be 3 thing's you get in this tube assembly.
1) Recoil reducing tube.
2) Really long allen key.
3) VZ 58/ CZ 858 thread adaptor.

First take the flat head screw driver and install the adaptor into the hole. Next find the hole on the bottom of the tube and put the allen key & make sure it's setted properly. Then just screw into the stock adaptor. There might be some fitting required to the tube assembely to make it sit flush with the rear of the reciever.
Notice the slot here;

Maybe I could be wrong, but....

If you NEED to reduce recoil from the CZ 858, I suggest placing your purse between your shoulder and the buttplate. The tampons in there ought to absorb recoil too.

:p

858

All right. Listen up tough guys. I wanted an AR type stock adapter for my CZ so I bought the ONLY 1 that I found at P&D. It just so happened that it had the recoil reducer on it. Take your trolling somewhere else. Nobody stated anything about recoil, just how to attach the adapter.

Wow.....the people on here, for every decent post there are 2 that are trying to insult, cause a fight...... It is the same stock that goes on the AR so I guess the same arguement should be made for ARs.......not much recoil with 223!

A guy once told me if you have nothing good to say don't say nothing at all.
Now back to the topic at hand.
Ahhhh. Now I see. Thank you very much. You don't happen to know the size do you?
Don't know give me a day or two and I'll get back to you on this. In the meen time check this link out;

It's all good. I got it on there. Upon initial inspection I didn't see the slot underneath, and no Allen wrench came with mine. A couple of minutes with a ball end hex wrench it was on there. Thanks gents, and Satain, that little red dot you sold me sits real nice on the top of this very rifle. Cheers.
