I would say that he means if you have registered and Alias and have never used it.......

Then it will be nuked.

As it should be.

i have no clue. you would have to direct your question on IPSC.org.

I read it as that if you don't shot ICS stages you alias will be nuked.

I suspect that "email direction" refers to
ipsc.org website said:
There is an optional one-time charge of $5 US that will give you a corresponding IPSC email alias. For example:

IPSC Alias - Quickdraw
Email address - quickdraw@ipsc.org

Any mail sent to your IPSC email alias will be automatically relayed to your real email address.
They are probably saying that if you haven't submitted an ICS score in the past two years, and you did not set up an ipsc.org email address or no email has been relayed via your ipsc.org email address in the past two years, the alias will be deleted.

This is nothing new. The following has been on the ICS alias web page for a long time.
Shooters may be removed from the ICS system at the end of the second consecutive year where no scores are submitted.
I suspect that just emailing and asking to keep an unused alias will probably not work.

This may be an attempt to increase ICS revenues.

Meh who cares. Although if they were thinking it would be 5 years. As that's the time between world shoots.

see what happens when I reply on my Blackberry? stupid small keys, thanks Sean, 3 years for the World Shoots, so it should be every 4 to toss the alias.

Walter, not sure if I get classed by ICS when I head to Norway and Czech this year. Honestly I don't care about my ranking as far as GM, M, A etc, I'm only concerned with my individual finish at any given match, so 1,2,3 basically. On the world stage I'd like to break the top 30, but again the ranks mean nothing to me.
