Who prefers iron sights over red dots?

I would only hunt with Irons at one time, but with my failing eyesight, the front site is just a blur now.....the Red-Dot has solved that problem for me.....several whitetails could testify to that....

What about a low mag fixed scope? vs. reddot
Do you co-witness? dot w/ f.iron?

Yep...gonna try that next on a Sav. 99 I just picked up. Probably one of the new Redfields everyone's talking about. I'm fairly new with the glass, so I'm not sure what's meant by 'co-witness'.....observing the front site thru the scope?
