As you can see it's totally ergonomic and multi-purpose... and if you will.. "tactical". Because you have to have "tactical" in the name for it to be cool.

We're just hashing out the final colors.

;)

:jerkit:

This "secrecy" by manufacturers hearkens back to elementary school where kids would play the "I know something you don't know!" game.

If you're not providing details because you're afraid you won't bring it to market and disappoint people, you shouldn't be investing R&D into it in the first place. If you're worried about someone stealing your intellectual property, apply for a patent. It's not as if once it's out someone can't reverse engineer it on you anyhow. There are also few original ideas out there that haven't been thought of before by someone else; you're just the one with the moxie to bring it to life. If you're under an NDA or contractually obligated not to divulge details, why are you saying anything in the first place?

Cut the childish nonsense and announce new products when they're available for sale. If they're as good as the hype, they'll be bought.

There, I feel better.

I thought that's what I said I was doing?

Unless you really think that I'm making a Tactical Tavor Maul...

No, what I mean is the constant "We have something AWESOME in the works for your VZ. It will make you jizz your pants it is so incredible. In fact we have FIVE things that will give you orgasms. BUT! We're not dropping any hints as to what they are. They're our SECRET! Haha we know but you don't! I feel so special hanging it over you! Hahaha!"

Seriously. We know you have awesome products and for that we're thankful. But the constant teasing is getting tiresome, fast.

thanks for the pep talk spanky :p The reason i have decided to not unviel new projects until they are available for retail is that priorities change and jobs on the shop floor get bumped.

its not that i enjoy taunting you guys......... its just a side effect of severe swings from excitement to anxiety while waiting for new tools to be designed and jigs and fixtures to be made.

...I'm more impatient than most of the people harassing me for product... How's that for Karma?

But at least "I" have my products.. I can quit now, take my toys and go home and shoot. I might have a bunch of pissed machinists though.

...so is it too late to ask for a button on my tacticool axe that illuminates a micro Surefire light.... oh...oh and tritium backup? for chopping in the dark, or ice fishing??

So,

I just reread every post... there was no confirmation on the length of the short barrel.
Is it going to be 10.5" (as suggested) or will it (can it) be shorter?

(I like shorter; 6" possible?? New Handguards??) This would super-###y :D

As close to this as possible :D

Does the SXE stand for ###y? It does to me.

SXE...Never mind accuracy (or lack thereof) I wonder if the gas piston would even be able to work on something that short? that would necessitate a 2" rod...never mind safety glasses, you'll need something to prevent your eyebrows from getting singed off.
