Seriously guys? Slamming John for bringing in cheap semi-auto .308's? I'm just freaking happy that there are more M14's on the market. If the government was saying "Our water is slowing down, we have just bought all of the remaining water out of the U.S." and then when everyone was getting thirsty they said "Hey, they found more water in the U.S.. And we are bringing more to Canada." Would anyone #####?

Then perhaps those individuals should refrain form shooting their mouths and questioning people's integrity without having any of their facts straight. What's wrong with people when #####in starts like this.
I could understand raking marstar over the coals if this new offering was priced up near the competitors who have months to rake in their profits before marstar ONCE AGAIN, sets the bar and gives US more of these fantastic rifles at the lowest price in canada.
Think about it for a moment

And thank the man and his company for endeavoring to provide us with products at extremely competitive and consumer friendly pricing.
For the record, my purchases from marstar total under 1500 over the past 5 years so I am not speaking as a huge marstar client.
More cheaply priced rifles is a good thing
Now.... #####in that we have yet another boatload of rifles on the market BUT NO CHEAP CHINESE NATO BALL AMMO to shoot in said rifles is really starting to burn my @ss

Hi mentioned something about the ammo in another thread. I guess they own lots overseas but are having a very hard time getting it into canada. It seems the canadian gubment thinks all that ammo is a very scary thing.

Speaking of being ignorant. Why dont you go read some of the posts over the last few months. Message wasnt always clear form Marstar. Someone asked for clarification and instead insults come flying. THAT is not too diffuclt to understand...well maybe for you it is, it seems.

There is ammo around. You can use commercial .308 but surplus is generally cheaper. 7.62 x 51 pops up every now and again but not in the volumes or at the price that we would love.

Why would i read back a few months to figure out this topic about a gun that was just announced?
Marstar announced these ones on Feb 26 2010 and promptly announced that they are new manufactured norincos. Its amazing how i understood that, seeing as im so stupid.
