Lebaron increased SKS prices?

Did Lebaron already raise their prices on the Russian SKS?

I swear last week the website showed $180/hardwood and $216/laminate.

Now they're listed at $185/hardwood and $223/laminate.

Price gouging bastards! :D

I guess they didn't expect to sell as many as they have so quickly.
 
Price hiking in anticipation of not being able to turn a profit when Marstar brings tens of thousands to Canadian soil for a LOT less. I'm holding out for John's shipment; I don't foresee an apocalypse anytime soon.

Honestly? Its 5 more dollars for the hardwood and a whole 7 bucks for the laminate...you guys are going to bash them for this? They were great prices already! I don't know of any other place right now where you can walk in and pick up an all matching silver bolt SKS for $185...

Yes....and their customer service sucks, they never have anything of importance in stock...shall I continue?......:D
 
I paid 139.00 14yrs ago for my Norc from them.Only gone up 50 bucks in that amount of time that ain't to bad i guess.And yes their customer service has gone downhill in tha past years.Only in an emergency will i buy from them now.

From the sounds of it, you haven't as of yet, as it seems you all know exactly how bad their service is.....

I don't much like the service either, but it don't bother me so much, I go in get what I need, pay and go home, usually I call to see if it's in stock, and this usually saves me a trip to the store, funny how a phone call helps ohhh in so many ways.

Everyone seems to have an issue with LeBarons, yet we must all still be going there, the SKS rifles are out of the store about as fast as they get them in, and a store that does not have stock, usually means the product has been sold, strange how that works, how many times have I gone to other stores for something and wow, they are out of stock as well, I ask when it will be back in stock, and I come back that day to get the item.

as for service, well this only the guy behind the counter can fix, no matter how much we ##### and complain here.

In as much as I don't like LeBarons either, but a drive to the store is only 15 minutes away, beats driving to a store 1 hour or 3 hours away, just to get some gun oil, or patches, or locks, or even a SKS if you ask me, but then again I sometimes am a glutten for punishment....

EDIT - Be back soon, off to the store we all hate (including me lol) to pick up another SKS, it seems one just isn't enough......taking a friend as well, he wants one after he saw mine.....go figure
 
Well I am back, and guess what..........

NO Purchase made.....

What they had in stock is complete crap, as far as I am concerned, rusted, spray painted gas tubes, crappy stocks,,,,,,

and lets not even talk about the staff, unfortunately, even after telling them we wanted to buy 2 of these rifles, and a crate of ammo, this did not motivate them to show us more than 4 rifles, even tho there were many more in the back.....

Well lets say, they lost about 700 bucks in sales today, and I will take my self and my buddy to some other store to make a purchase...

The only up side, is we did buy a cleaning kit, and some locks, and a sling, and it was great, it was there, needed no one to help us with the choice just grabbed the stuff, paid for it, and went home.....

I was sort of defending the store staff a wee bit, but after today's experience this will not really happen all that much any more.....

I will still get stuff from there, but only stuff I can get on my own, and with out the assistance of staff.....

Live and learn......
 
One bad apple??

I have been going there for a few years. I too get bad service quite often in the Gun Room, the rest of the store isn't as bad. After reading many complaints here I started to realize that each time I get bad service it is from the same guy.
Anyone else notice this?
 
All 4 of them are about the same.....I find the old guy to be the best out of the bunch actually, but only if he is alone, and it's not busy in the gun room, and it's a one on one, he is very helpful then, otherwise nope, and they are all the same then....
 
As I told you before. First they display a few that were in the good condition and then the ones that were not so good. Mixed container. Solution handpick those, but then the price goes up :( well what can we do about that?

Le Barons MUST be a very very healthy Company.

the issues with their non existing customer (better say victime) service is going on for years now...

The president of the company with the same name is very well aware of the problems and he is wealthy enough to continue the employment of all those MORONS.

A very healthy and wealthy business indeed...

I guess they don't need my business...

And you should do the same and stop complaining!
