how much is this scope worth?

recently visited one of my old mans friends out on Bobs lake, we got talking guns, took a few shots, then he brought out a scope for me to look at. it is a bausch and lomb elite 3000 1.5-4.5X32. asked if I was willing to trade a couple days labour for it. at the time I accepted but the more I think about im pretty sure im getting skinned... your thoughts?
he says he paid $350 for it but im a little skeptical now after looking online...

It's now the Bushnell Elite 3200 and it sells for about $270 at WSS or SIR/Cabela's.
If it's a clean example, and depending on the kind of labour, why not? You wouldn't be out any cash.

the 3000 line is quite old now, but its my understanding that the bausch and lomb lenses had better optics back then, and were also made in Japan. I sold one in 3x9x40 about 3yrs ago to someone who offered me $200.

There is one selling in the EE now at $215

I am sure someone with better knowledge will key in soon.

my cottage is down in mud bay and we have great fishing there, bass is delicious
