great to have another black gun/ pistol caliber carbine what ever you want to call it making its way up here. This is one gun ill pass on DAMN its ugly

Is this the same SMG that was on future weapons awhile back? Supposing to be the the only controllable SMG with the power of 45ACP??
Shot one at the 2008 SHOT show, vey fast rate of fire and minimal muzzle climb. If I had lot's of money I would buy one, but the advantages of the system are likey lost with only semi-auto.
The plus side is that if this came to Canada as a Non-restricted, you would have a nice little carbine that takes 10rd mags and the .40cal with the extra barrl length is giving you .44mag M/V's. As a rebarreled Storm costs about $1500 it might be worth it.

And while I respect anyone else's right to love it to death, I don't see the point of the recoil absorbing mechanism without full-auto capability... which, of course, we won't have up here. For me, I just couldn't justify the expense without being able to make full use of that feature.
I hope whoever buys one enjoys it though (if the RCMP approves it).

doesn`t matter.......the more "black guns" the better.....bring `em in!
I don't understand how people don't think that the recoil reducing properties would be of no use in semi auto fire. It would not make a difference if you are just popping off one round every 5 seconds but it would drasticly improve rapid fire. Anything that reduces felt recoil means that the that the shooter can make a faster follow up shot and with more comfort. Weather this is worth the price tag is still to be determined. I would grab one of these just to have a unique firearm like this. I'm sure it would be fun to shoot as well.

More good news. Aparently you can use Glock mags in it. So 10 rounds of fun
I see how it would be useful, but I wouldn't pay THAT much for THAT gun unless I could use its function to the max. I have meathooks for hands and I'm a big guy so I find follow-up shots aren't a problem when shooting controlled pairs etc. YMMV. I had some guys ask me if I had a lightning link in my AR15 once because I was banging out 5-shot strings PDQ at the 25yd range to play with a new red-dot optic. I had to open it up to convince them I wasn't some full-auto menace, and no it wasn't bump-fire either.
I've shot things like the USC and don't find the recoil even worth talking about, so active recoil control in a pistol-caliber carbine seems like an answer (to me) to a question I hadn't asked yet.
However, on the as-designed Kriss Super V in .45 ACP, with the short barrel and full-auto fire - DAMN fine idea. Definitely worth the investment. The 16" barrel they'll make us put on becomes just as effective in damping recoil as the innovative Kriss mechanism. So, I'm out. Just one more for everyone who DOES want one to play with - and I hope you guys LOVE them! To each their own, I say!
Personally, if someone wants to import them by the 40 foot container, that's good news to me (even if I don't buy one) because it means SOMEONE - or, rather, a LOT of 'someones' - are going to have a #####in' time shooting a gun they really like. The more the merrier!
