Actually, what I am saying is: Ruger has put more .375 caliber rifles into the hands of hunters in 2-3 years, than H&H has done in almost a century.
I know precisely what you are stating, but how does that fact make the Ruger a better cartridge ? Obviously you must have some numbers to back up this statement....or is it just speculation ?
I'm inclined to believe that original purchase price of a Holland & Holland rifle had a lot to do with sales numbers.
The Winchester Mod. 70 was the first really affordable 375 H&H was it not ?
And now, like the Winchester, the Ruger Alaskan in 375 is probably somewhat more affordable than some of the other rifles in different 375 chamberings.
Don't get me wrong here, not trying to pick a fight, I have over half a dozen fine, good working Ruger rifles and more than a dozen of their handguns, all excellent products....
