I'm gonna just throw it out there that a caliber between .338 and .416 is just unnecessary. t.

I'm more of the line of thinking that anything between .30 caliber and .375 caliber is unnecessary for most hunting applications. There is a good jump in size between 30 and .375, and then when you climb into the .416+ you are into a different area.

But without a whole bunch of "gaps to fill" it wouldn't be as interesting.
