Marlin 795

I know it would be a giant drive but there is a wicked deal on them in Bass Pro Shop outside Calgary at Cross Iron Mills. Sorry I couldnt help you but I figured I would give another option for other people looking too.

Oh and what else I wanted to add is look into the Marlin 70pss I just got one and its a great little break down version of the model 795 and runs around $325.00 I got mine at Canadian Tire but I think Alberta is the only place that sells firearms at their Canadian Tires still, sadly :(

But I will still try and help by giving a list of dealers in all provinces:

Thanks Desette! Those papooses are great i hear. Im going cheap and cheerful atm :) ive already got a Remington 512 sportmaster which i love dearly; but im now thinking i would like to go semi-auto.

Not sure which part of the sunshine coast your from, but maybe give wholesale sports in Nanaimo a ring. Don't know if they have any for sure, but from what their site says, they go for $170+ without tax. Of possible interest, the Mossberg 702 plinkster is also claimed/rumoured to be a Brazilian copy of the Marlin 795 with slight differences. They go for $130+ without tax and are appearing every where. And of course, there's good ol' EE

No problem and the papoose is semi-auto if you were thinking it wasn't. But maybe after my trip this weekend I will post some bad ass pictures...

I have 3 795's and a older 995. Personally I would go the stainless route, much nicer sights, and ofcourse finish. My First 795ss is currently at 22,500rnds with all original parts and still functions perfectly. Nutnfancy called it perfect with 2 thumbs up. Buy one, you wont regret it
