Just picked up a new XDM in 9mm. Rattled off 200 rounds at the range and found it to be much more accurate than my Glock 17. :) While I still LIKE my Glock...I LOVE this new Springfield!

There is a shop in Saskatoon that has good stock on the new Springfield XDM's. ;)
Are you joking or being serious, I can't tell. If there IS a shop like that AND you have its name, you better spell it out - I mean, AFTER you order yours, of course! ;)

Uh, I wonder if that's the one Ray Ray had mentioned. If that's so, that Darren Reed will be a popular guy - for the next day or so, that is, until he's out of stock. :D

I meant in geraral for a polymer gun made in chroatia. I doubt it costs them more than what it does for Smith and wesson to make M&P in America

Picked it up at The Saskatoon Gunworks. the phone # is (306) 242-6747. He had a good number of them in both 9mm and 40S&W in various finishes. Will post pics soon.

The selling price don't related on the cost of making in this case, but for sure Springfield want a high profit margin on the XDM base on the reputation of XD series.

Well, let's see... You have a gun made in Europe (costed out in Euros, and even in Croatia labour is not cheap) then imported into the USA by Springfield. Then bought by a US Distributor and then imported into Canada by the Canadian Dealer. So every time the guns change hands, someone is making a buck, plus the cost of exchange (from Euros to US$ to CA$) plus the cost of importing into Canada... It's really not a bad price. Not as nice as the US pricing, but not out of line either... at least in my opinion.

The pistol actually costs more to purchase in Croatia, than it does to purchase in the US, or Canada

I don't have the exact cost with me, but I can see if I can dig it up.....

My dad was going to buy one there, he is about a 1/2 hour drive from the factory, but compared to what we paid here, we actually bought it in the US, it was still cheaper if we bought one here and did the necessary paper work to have him take it back to Croatia, this was on a XD45 ACP

And that was my point - most of the money goes to people making profit on passing them alone vs materials, quality control and workmanship. FYI Buds has them for $574!

It looks nicer than older XD's for sure, I'd love to play with one but I don't think I'd part with $1000 for it.

The new XDM is sweeeeeet. I wish I could afford one. It fits nice in the hand and I like the black and green. They come with a nice case and a small holster I believe but the holster is right handed and I am lefthanded.
How is this Buds Gun Shop selling for 574. Thats the price simular to ruger SR9.

It's nice to see the XDM finally in Canada. I wish they had come a month sooner and I would of bought a .40 instead of a new Mossberg shotgun.
