NP-22 problems ?

I have an NP-34 (the 228 clone), it is very similar to the NP-22. I have had no issues in well over 1000 rounds, it feeds everything, shoots straighter than me and just keeps ticking along.

The DA trigger is quite heavy, SA is pretty good with a medium pull and crisp break. The stock plastic grips suck big time, mine wears rubber Hogue grips and they are a huge improvement.

The finish is not that great, serviceable, but nothing like a SIG or S&W. For the price they are a great value and I would buy another without a second thought.

Love my NP-22. Replaced a few bits with SIG parts, ( recoil and mainspring ) and re-coated part of the slide with Brownells. You get all the shooting fun of a SIG without the price tag. I did find the Hogue grips to be a bit meaty, so I put original factory SIG grips, and it handles fine. Same bit of upgrading most do to the Norc 1911 series .. just tweaks.

The only thing left to change is the trigger spring.

So when you replaced mainspring, have you noticed any difference?
I got NP34, I'm also planing to replace all springs with SIG original and i'm also want to get p228 grips on it.
Where did you get your SIG springs and grips? (pm me if you want)

Thanks!
