SKS-M value

umm get an account on a website like photobucket and then upload pics to that then click on the picture icon on the message and then copy and paste the proper url from the picture, then it will work.

Just curious, why is this rifle worth so much? To my untrained eye it looks like an SKS-d.

What is the SKS-m? I never even heard of it until I read this thread.

it does actually look like an sks-d... but the sks-m model just so you know is the "paratrooper" model which has a quite short barrel and is rarer than the d model. but as far as i know these type rifles have never seen service nor combat as i think they were designed for sporting use here in north america.
 
this M vs D , doesnt really concern us canadians, we wont pay more for less. its a US thing when they impose a ban on certain military looking rifle in 1988.

so the import developed the M, which essentially a D with the bayo chopped off with a new monte carlo or a thumbhole stock. most came with a 16" barrel.

all that change for nothing when US government slam the door shut in 1994 . i presume some got diverted here.
