They are Mausers. Given the reference to Yugo, the chances are better than average that any .45 carbines will be Mausers, not Lee Enfields. Just a theory.

Makes sense. I think only AIA in Australia is making new Lee action rifles now, right?

It'd be kind of hard to make a restricted bolt action. The OAL would have to be below 26"

What a lucky name grab, how does a firearm board make it 6 years, before somebody shows up named "Shot Gun"???

A 45 ACP rifle would definitely get my attention.

I would agree - I'd prefer a semi, but I'm in for a bolt action if a semi isn't going to happen.

LOL... it shows my lack of imagination when I had to pick a name when I signed up... I enjoy playing with my shotguns so I figured what the hell....

Although I agree with the thought of a semi in .45 being more preferable, I think that the bolt concept would allow us to get a rifle in a shorter (just guessing on this) barrel configuration and still have a non restricted rifle plus correct me if I am wrong (and I am sure I will be corrected ) but a bolt action does not suffer from the silly "5 round" max mag capacity that would be forced on a semi.

This is true; a bolt action would not have the 5 round limit, and the barrel could probably be shorter, but I'd be alright with a .45 acp semi with 18.5" barrel that took 1911 pistol mags, which can be had with a 10 round capacity.
