Ruger SR-22

Hey guys, I'm new to this site and was curious what you guys think about the Ruger SR-22?
I'm pretty much in love with the gun and can't wait to get one, and I'm wondering if anyone has one for sale new or used.
Can't seem to find any shops selling them in here in CowTown.

umm try bass pro or most likely wholesale sports or the shooting edge will have them.

Its a ruger .22 not much more to say than that in terms of accuracy in reliability.

All your paying for is looks, and cool looks at that, but they are a little out of my price range....

Id rather buy a pps-50 with a drum clip for that price!!! haha

But good luck finding one, it will be the ultimate gopher killing machine!!!

My earlier post may have come off wrong to some

I own a regular 10/22 that has no upgrades except a bolt buffer. I can hit gophers all day long, but its no bolt gun. If the SR-22 has the same accuracy capability I'd be happy.

i have a red dot on it right now so its not great. I bet with a scope on there it would do just fine.

Anyone knows if it takes the 10-22 mags? I want to buy one but im wondering if a 10-22 50 rdns aftermarket drum mag will fit in...

The first two shipments of the SR22 were sold out very fast. The next shipment is expected in a week or two...$550 (add $125 for collapsible M-4 stock, original one doesn't collapse). Our next shipment is almost pre sold. Phil.

Another Question. On the Ruger website, they have the SR-22 and SR-22SC. Whats the difference? does one have an adjustable stock other doesn't?

I see SR-22 is 32.75"- 36" in overall length and the SR-22SC is 34.38" overall length.

and the SR-22SC doesn't have the flash suppressor.

Both are non-restricted but you can only buy the non-adjustable stock in Canada. However, if you want to put on an after-market adjustable stock you can or order your SR22 from P&D and they will put one on for you for some extra $. All Canadian models come without the flash suppressor.
