Well you guys gave me the motivation to install my Wilson combat Trigger.
After seeing all those futur pimp Nork Thread I thought Ill give it a try.

Ok so I got it Today with my Brownells AR LPK order. Wilson Combat Competion Match Trigger. Says on the package Drop in Fit , was not in my case.
First this trigger is made of alluminum and coated with some knd of anodizing or paint.
It did not fit my gun and got scratch right away a
I needed to me trim and slim down. I used 320 400 600 and 800 grit sand paper on a flat surface to slim down the trigger. Took about 15 min to do. After that the trigger was moving freely into the frame. I took my Dremel and some buffing compound to polished the trigger to a crome finish.

Re assemble the gun. WOW what a difference Night and day. I dont understand why but the pull feel much more lighter.

One thing I did not understand is the little allen key in the trigger purpose. What is it for ? what does it adjust ?

This trigger was worth every penny and cost less then $20

Cant wait to range test it

That is an overtravel adjustment, turn it in until it makes contact with the Mag release, at this point you should not be able to drop the hammer while pressing the trigger. Back the screw out 2 full turns and it should be set right.

You can check it by holding the hammer with your thumb while pulling the trigger, and slowly let it drop. If you have it adjusted right it will drop smoothly, if it's still to close you should be able to feel the sear scraping against the hammer, and then you can back it off some more.

I like to count the rotations, and then when its set right remove it and place a little loctite on the threads before reinstalling it.

Sound good , which one do you suggest ? how about the mainspring housing and Hammer ?

Beavertails - unless you get a "drop-in" style, the others usually have to be fit to the frame & involve some 'smithing of the back tang on the frame for the correct fit.

Hammers - Tricky for a newb. It's usually more than just getting another hammer & swapping out the old one. Hammer/sear fit & engagement is critical.

Mainspring housings - Usually not too much of an issue for a newb. The standard set-up has been: long trigger with flat mainspring housing [as in the original Colt 1911] or short trigger with arched mainspring housing [ala 1911A1 style]. That said, it boils down to personal preference. When I used to install Videcki triggers [with the same profile as your trigger above] in my 1911's I used to change out the arched mainspring housing for a flat Pachmayr one. You have to determine what is right for you, though.
