I have a sling attachment on my mag fed Grizzly right where the receiver meets the stock on the left side. It looks to be exactly where a single point sling attachment would be. Does everyone have this and is this good for a single point sling?

Yes that's exactly what it's good for. But I'd recommend a 2 point sling. You can use it to stabilize yourself when shooting slugs offhand. It's also more comfortable, not that much slower to get into shooting position. You can african carry it or american carry it. Plus there's many options for 2-point attachments like the Hk style on the side, or standard mag cap and butt stock setup. Hope that helps.

Thanks. Going to a three gun this weekend and was thinking of taking my Grizzly. Always used two point before with my 870.

If you use the single-point, careful when lowering it to transition to your sidearm because if you drop it, it'll swing down and sack you real hard. And the Grizzly is a pig of a shotgun.

Or wear a jock strap. Have you considered a 3-point? They're confusing and not recommended. But to each his own.

Never tried a 3-point yet. I will see how I like the single point. I ordered a single point sling adaptor for my 870 that should be here by Friday. I think I am going do use my 870 instead of my Grizzly as I installed a new Knoxx recoil reducing stock that I really like to use.

Honestly to become a good shooter in pistol, shotgun, carbine and precision it must take a lifetime and a very good job! LOL I reload, make ok money and still think I need another 20 years to master all these. If I didn't have a wife and kids I am sure it would be a lot easier. Today I am going to the zoo so no shooting. :D

I used the little loop on the folding stock for a single point. I had a expandable sling I got for cheap it runs through the loop then screw to itself the other end loops over the stock and screws to itself.

It just leaves s loop of sling i put over my neck sitting on my left side, the gun can sit on my chest or hang just under my right arm. Have used it to carry and is quite comfortable.
