"alpine" M1 carbine

As the title says, I have an M1 carbine manufactured by "Alpine" the rest of the parts are GI . Has anyboby ever heard of these things? Thanks

'Alpine' was a division of National Ordnance, Inc., of Azusa, CA. Later the two names separated. Barrels were converted from 03A3 Springfield ones.

One of the cooler post war commercial M1 carbines, same related company as National Ordnance, another commercial. All USGI interchangeable, used USGI parts when possible, when not there were post war manuf parts used. Receivers may be glossy or dulled, stamped with Alpine. Alpine operated about '59 to '65 or so. Not sure how many they made, but you don't see them all that much.

Sunray, the picture is just fine.
I think you need a bigger monitor. With a bigger monitor you will also be able to see all the comments posted before you. Including the one where MkVII posted the same link you posted a day before you did.

Not a bigger monitor, just a larger resolution will do.
