A little wile ago Lever Arms had a bit better deal on the crates and i decided to go there, but buddy there scoffed at part cash part debit transaction, and was little interested in selling or answering questions about products or really any thing else like as if was a big deal to be in his shop at all. most i have seen and heard has not much good to say about them there, for the most part i have been staying with Reliable they live up to their name.

No it's not a "battle pack" it's a sixth case that I opened and put in the 50 cal box to use before I open the others an spoil the "seal" of the tin can.
I figure that the price of ammo is only going to go up in the future and so I stocked up now while it's "cheaper"($170 a case). To bad I didn't have the foresight to get .308 by the case eh.
ahh I see, for some reason if the "battle packs" came in a case or ammo box of some sort I'd have to buy one, ya know how stupid little aesthetic things like that make you want to buy something

Very nice stash!!! I dont mean to hijack this thread I just have a question about this surplus ammo. Once I remove the ammo from the "spam like" steel crate the ammo comes in how long will it last give or take just being stored regularly? I dont shoot alot so I am looking for my 1120 round crate to last me 2-3 years. Is this reasonable?
