TT33 Question

With the action closed pull the hammer back approx 5mm. The hammer will set there, with the action and the trigger locked! Pull the hammer all the way back and the action and trigger unlocks.

What's that all about? Ruined my range session today. Every thing looks normal but you can't open the action.

yup, tiriaq is correct, just the half ####. If you ever have an issue with your TT manually bring the hammer to the rear, should work.

DUUUUU. and here I thought I put it together wrong after the last cleaning!

What makes this configuration safer?

It is the only safety in the design. Unless it is a Tokagypt, or a commercial Chinese.
Actually, it is pretty secure.
