I need a new RPAL

So the expiration date on my RPAL is 2012, but my license is shot!

Cracked to hell, there are unrecognizable stains and the card itself is almost a burden to show it looks like it might jump on and put AIDS all over your face!

My question: Can I get a new RPAL? If so, do I have to pay 40$ and send out a new picture?

I am also interested in the answer. My dog bit a few holes in mine the second I opened the letter it came in.

Me too. The blow is eating all the flat edges off mine.

I couldn't find my POL so they sent me another one, without charge. All I had to do is request it over the phone. It's likely the same thing with a RPAL.

I think so - though your chances are even better if you ask for it as a renewed license, rather than a re-issue of your existing one.

My license was to expire in 2012, but I got it renewed to 2015 under the recent no-fee period....
