You said 2" groups at 800yds. See below and I will show you.
2.094" @ 800 Yards = 1/4 MOA by the numbers you have supplied. Or am I also too much of a farmer to perform this task correctly.
100% truthful. Recipe was given to me when I bought my gun. 1/4 MOA all day long, every day.
If the group is not 1/4 MOA it is because I failed to be consistent with the loads. Shooter error is almost nil with a 20 lb rifle and a hair trigger
If you have never spent time behind the type of high end tactical rifle I use, you will never believe or never understand the high degree of precision.

Farmers from Manitoba are smart guys. I dont know any other farmers who can put weight on swimming cattle that get the blood sucked out of them by huge moskitoes.
Difficulty wise, it's defiantly right up there with achieving 1/4 MOA all day long, that's for sure.
And having enough downrange energy to kill the intended animal ethically, humanely, and instantly. That is the real key for me. I did not get this rifle to punch paper. It is used for long range hunting. 1/4 MOA precision long range hunting rifle.
You should try one some day.

Ok. Maybe I should ask if you can hold 1/4 MOA all day everyday at long range?
i shot the balls off a blowfly at 900m the other day.. true story Pfftt....I shot a hair off the balls of a blowfly at 1000 m....from the hip....

'When I was younger I used to compete on my battalion`s rifle team. I thought I knew how to shoot as I was better than the average competitor. I have continued to shoot and the more that I shoot, the better I get. The better that I get the more I realize that I do not know sh$t about shooting.

Heh, my rifle has exactly THREE, three-shot groups of 1/4 MOA. (Out of approx 800 shots).
From farthest edge of the hole to the opposite farthest edge.Generally they are not just touching,but in the same ragged hole .Measure the largest part of that hole edge to edge and subtract the caliber you are using which will give you the group size.
I mention the World Benchrest Records to give perspective on what "shooting 1/4 MOA all day long" and aggregates ,as they would have shot 50 rounds (10 -5 round groups 5 groups at 100 and 5 at 200 yards to achieve the aggregate total.
In F Class our V bull is a 1/2 MOA (approx) from 300 to 1000 yards.
Very challenging to achieve.
If you and your rifle can maintain 1/4 MOA even to 800yrds,I would say contact Ian about getting involved with the Canadian Team for the World's
Match in 2013.

As we get older our eyes weaken and we tend to shake more. Just a fact of life. There is an old saying: "the more I know the less I really know". I proud to have never been in any type of military unit.
I wish I had the time and interest for such a committment.
That's too bad. If you can shoot that well without the interest or committment imagine what you could do if you got serious about competition. No only would you be the Canadian Champion but the World Champion as well in both F Class and benchrest both long range and short range.
