Peterborough Match next weekend?

Was this match canceled or something?
I don't see it on ipsc-matches.net anymore.

As far as I know - its still on -

Maybe the Provincials bickering over cancellation, position firings etc has something to do with it -

The IPSC dirty laundry is posted - but thread closed --

You forgot to mention how much better IDPA is...

I can see right through you...but maybe some other readers can't ;)

Always a good idea to let your agenda be known.

Ta ta...

To the OP...check on the IPSC Ontario webite...it is the official source for match announcements. The links page will also have the contact info for the Peterborough club rep...so you can send him a message and see what's up

Cheers

Hit a nerve did I ? Learned that accuracy from my B.B. course ;)

You dont see very well -

I shoot IPSC and IDPA and TDSA etc.

I prefer IPSC because of the challenge of the speed and accuracy combo.

Each discipline has its own advantages and disadvantages.

I poke fun at the bulls**t IPSC politics because bulls**t politics is BAD FOR THE SPORT and IPSC has more bulls**t politics than the other disciplines.
I have seen that not change in the last 10 years.
I have seen many IPSC shooters go to other disciplines because they to are not impressed by the bulls**t IPSC politics.

My agenda - to tell it like it is .

I disagree. It is shooting and no matter what shooting you do, there is no disadvantage.

I believe muscle memory becomes the disadvantage - just watch the IPSC shooters getting penalties for dropping partial mags in an IDPA shoot -
or forgetting to go to cover -

But are we having fun? When I disagree about there not being a disadvantage, I mean it does not matter what you are shooting, as long as you are having fun.

I agree ABSOLUTELY !

Thats EXACTLY what its all about - having fun - no matter what the shooting discipline - who cares about inter-disciplinary rivalry. Bullsh!t politics is a nuisance though.

It is fun to poke fun at those who take themselves to seriously -

And it is a lot of fun watching muscle memory screw ups during a match! ;) :dancingbanana:

As we are seeing, Politics makes a real good thing real bad, real fast.

It is fun to poke fun at those who take themselves to seriously.

But also understand their frustration.

I agree, it has happened to me many times, I think it makes for a good group laugh especially when everyone leaves happy.

The match is posted, I really dont know were all this crap came from, dont look here go to the official IPSC website for the proper info. Or even better call the IPSC rep in your newletter if you have any questions.

No worries, it seems that ISP that hosts Omen's system had some issue, but now it's all back in order (thank Omen!).
I just forgot what time I was signed on.

And I'm sure  when you're at those IPSC matches, you also laugh at the guys going so slow as they reload under cover, saving mags and shoot the targets "tactically."
Poking fun goes both ways, and even though you claim to shoot multiple disciplines, you seem to like to poke it one way only.

Yes, I'm guilty of feeding the troll, but it's not like a moderator here is ever going to get off thier ass and manage this place.
