Ruger SR-22

Do you have any aftermarket triggers for this thing that has pull like 3 - 4 pounds compared to stock?

p.s. let's see some pics! :D

You would just have to swap out the hammer (or plus sear) for a Volquartsen or Power Custom.

Alternatively buy a complete trigger unit from a place like Hornet Products.

Unless a dealer hid some away from the first shipment they are sold out in Canada. There are two Ruger distributors in Canada and as far as I know they are waiting for new shipments. We have a large back order in place and are taking deposits to ensure delivery however we are almost sold out of our expected delivery and there is a chance we could be short shipped. Guns will be delivered in the order that the back orders were received. Phil.

just curious, but if a guy prepays, and you get short-shipped, does he get a refund, or just stay on the list for the next shipment? if so, how far off do you expect that next shipment to be?

Thats a good question. I was told I was going to be close to the bottom of the expected arriving amount and I will be double bummed out if I dont get a rifle and lose my money!

Wouldn't that technically be theft? If you put down a deposit and they don't receive enough rifles in their shipment they should reimburse your money. Thats only good business! I don't believe they have the reputation they do today buy hustling potential customers.

Have to wait for P of P&D to reply!

That is a good question 22savage. I was thinking the same thing today. What happens now that I paid for the gun, and either, I find one at the gun show in cowtown and buy it there, or I dont get one when P and D gets the order, due to short shipping.?

I too am not too worried, but the thought has crossed my mind.

I know everyone is anxious for these guns but you have to give us a chance to get them in. When deposits or even full payment is made on a gun or other item and we are unable to deliver it in a reasonable amount of time then we will gladly refund the money. I spoke to my supplier today and he could not confirm a delivery date but was going to call Ruger and we will get more than our share of rifles. About half of our back orders have money down while the other half are on a call list. Due to the high demand of this rifle we will only hold the rifles that have no money down for a very short time. There is always a chance that the next shipment could only be a handful of rifles leaving many orders unfilled. I am confident that we will get all the rifles we ordered and supply all our back orders. We haven't put down a time frame but hope customers will give us some slack and we will return the favour by giving out the guns fairly and not raising the price to take advantage of the short supply and high demand. An accepted deposit or full payment is a contract both parties enter into to cofirm acceptance of the item at the agreed upon price so there is obligation on both sides. Phil.

I'm sure they will return your money if you ask in the event the order is small, or put you on the waiting list for the next shipment if thats what you choose.

Edit
Phil beat me to the punch!

Hopefully too many guys arent being jerks about this. The retailers have no control over when they receive their shipments. Seriously, even if they are delayed a month, so what? No one will die if they dont get one exactly when they hoped.

P&D always takes care of their customers, if you put your name in for one, you will get in the order you signed up for one. Big deal if its a couple weeks later. Like Phil said, they could have just brought in a bunch and sold them in a demanding market for $100 more... its worth the couple weeks wait. :dancingbanana:

We might see the guns by the end of next week. If they do and I fill all the back orders, I will bring down any extras to the Calgary Gun Show (if I bring any down..I won't be going home with them!). Phil.

yeah super excited to go to the show. If you get the guns in time, will you be bringing some of the calgary orders down instead of mailing them? Talked to one of the ppl there and they said they could possibly do that.
Just wondering if thats a go Phil, or if you will have to mail them instead.

If we get the guns in time and they are faid in full and transfered...I will be happy to bring them down and save the shipping cost. We offer this service to all the gun shows we go to. Phil.
