I am not a fan of piston AR's so that turns me off right away.

From the first page it seems that it is a US ruling and not Canadian. The US doesn't see anything of their stuff as being scary looking.

Seems like a shame. After all, it is only a Ruger. How evil can a Ruger really be?

I too lament that this beautiful piece of machinery will not be coming to canada, and am severely disapionted in this news. I wonder. Maybe i should buy one and leave it in Utah with the Grandma, just to say I own one.

ITAR export regulations bans export of military calibers, since 556 is part of it's name there is no way it will be allow outside of the country. Ruger should had follow HK's lead and called it a Rugger SR223.

Would there be interest if we could get a shipment of these?

Model SR-556FB appears to be available at the distributor right now and would sell here for @ $2,450 to $2,499.00

We don't normally handle Ruger so this would be a one time custom import for us and only if there's enough interest.
