That's not a photoshop.. I know that guy in the pic and have seen the rack myself. It's really old though. I think he took that around 1993 in Southern Saskatchewan.
 
Looks like distortion due to the relative positions of the lens, the guy and the rack. You know, like taking a photo of somebody with their hand sticking out towards the camera so the person looks small but the hand looks huge.

Look closely at the details. The antlers are as thick as the guy's biceps. The rack has to be 10 or 12 times as wide as the guy's head (note that some parts are off-photo) so that would make it on the order of six feet wide.

I don't think it's been altered, but it's pretty clear that the photo was carefully staged. If you go to Boone and Crockett's website, they have another one set up in the same way. www.boone-crockett.org/bgRecords/WorldRecords.asp?area=bgRecords

i usually shoot atleast 1 deer that big every hunting season, but my wall can't support the weight of the awesomeness, and my house hippo's don't like it when i leave the horns lying around and they have to climb over the sharp point's to get to the dog water bowl that they lounge in:)
